Fort Mistake Country Lodge

Fort Mistake Country Lodge is situated just off the N11 and offers guests a choice of accommodation 35 km from Dundee, and 50 km from Ladysmith and Newcastle.

Property Facilities:
Braai facilities are available for use, and there is a farm stall that offers the basic facilities. There is a large dam for fishing that overnight guests can use. Walking routes to Fort Mistake and other sites can be arranged on request. Fort Mistake Country Lodge also has a small hall that is available for functions.

In Room Facilities:
Guests can book 6 en-suite rooms that are furnished with double or single beds. The lodge also offers 2 Family Rooms with a double and 2 single beds, as well as a Family Apartment that contains a queen-size and 2 single beds. The unit also has a small kitchen. All the units are air-conditioned, and they are equipped with a fridge as well as tea and coffee facilities.

The lodge also has 6 units that can each sleep 8 people, and each of the units has a small kitchen. The units are furnished with single beds, and they share the use of a men’s and ladies’ ablution block with showers. Guests please need to bring their own bedding when booking an eight sleeper unit.
